Learning Reiki

Reiki has three main stages, First, Second and Third Degrees (separated into two parts 3a and 3b). Reiki is passed on through the knowledge of and attunements by the teacher. Each level offering something new.

First Degree

During first degree Reiki you will:

• Learn the history of Reiki
• How to do Reiki both on yourself, close friends & family
• Receive four attunements
• The course will be approximately 12 hours

Second Degree

Second degree Reiki:

• Increases your sensitivity to the Reiki energy
• You will learn to work on more than one person at a time
• Learn to do distance healing
• You will receive one attunement

The second degree is taught over a two day period or split over time to cover approximately 12 hours. To learn the second degree you need to have completed the first level and have a three month gap between each course.

Third Degree

There are two parts to the Third Degree.

Three A focuses on Personal Development, you will receive one attunement.

During Three B you learn to teach Reiki. The Personal Development level must be completed before progressing to the teacher’s level. You will receive one attunement.

A one year gap is recommended between Second and Third Degree Reiki. Three A is taught over a two day period, approximately 12 hours total, with a two week follow up.

The Reiki Teacher level is a one week course, further information supplied on request.
